Scott Mills was a British DJ, presenter, and actor who was born in England on 28 March 1973. Scott Robert Mills was his original/real name. He is often called Scott Mills. Many awards including Loaded Laftas, Stonewall Awards, and Sony Radio Academy honored him. His radio career began 16 years ago. In 1998, he was appointed to BBC Radio 1 and in 2018, he became BBC Radio 2. 

Why is Scott Mills leaving Radio One

Scott was a beloved host and radio presenter. His Radio 1 show, where he began in 1998, is his most well-known. He will be switching to Radio 2, a daily show, in September. This is why he has decided to leave radio 1. Steve Wright confirmed the news, mentioning that Scott had left Radio one after 24 years. As Scott is leaving Radio 1, presented by  Dean McCullough and Vicky Hawkwsworth, it is the replacement of Scott Mills and Chris Stark. Their show will air Monday through Thursday, according to birminghammail. From Monday, September 5th, their first show will start.

Scott Mills lives in London and is separated from his parents. His last radio show was broadcast on August 20, 2022, after he had left Radio 1. The show was broadcast between 9 and 11 am. All his fans were got so disappointed because of his leaving Radio 1  and joining Radio 2. In addition to his role as a Radio presenter he also made appearances in tv shows like River City, Mastermind and Supermarket Sweep.
