thirdweb Raises $24M in Series A Funding

thirdwebThe Series A funding for a London-based technology platform provider for building NFT and Web3 applications, was $24M.

Haun Ventures led the round, as well as Coinbase Ventures and Shopify Ventures.

The company plans to use the funds for platform development, support for additional blockchains, and to grow the user base. This will include onboarding hundreds of thousands more brands, creators, and individuals to help drive mainstream adoption of Web3.

Thirdweb was founded in 2021 by Steven Bartlett, Furqan Rydhan and provides a suite tools for creators, artists and entrepreneurs to launch, manage, and launch a Web3 project. It allows users to add features such NFTs as marketplaces and social tokens to their Web3 project without writing any code. In 9 months, over 55,000 developers have used thirdweb’s tools to build NFT drops and other web3 applications. Six different blockchains have seen over 150,000 smart contracts deployed. Thirdweb projects generate more than $1.5 million in revenue every week. Thirdweb is being used by global brands like 100Thieves (afterpay), and New York Fashion Week (new york fashion week) to power their web3 launches.
