The Terminator All Series

The Terminator

The Terminator’s first installment, the titular Terminator, is a killer robot played by Arnold Schwarzenegger. He was sent to kill Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), who is the mother of the human race’s saviour in 1984, from the war-torn years of 2029. Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn), another soldier humanity sent back, was Sarah’s son John Conner. Skynet, a computer defense system, has shown that it views mankind as the greatest threat. It became self-aware in 1997. Skynet’s plan of eliminating humanity by eliminating The Terminator is being stopped by Sarah and Kyle.

Terminator 2: Judgment day

This movie is the sequel to the original Terminator movie. It is set in 1995, 11 years after its predecessor. John Connor (Edward Furlong), a teenage who lives with foster parents in Los Angeles is the mother Sarah Connor (Linda Hamilton), currently incarcerated for trying to destroy a computer factory. Two new T-1000 liquid metal terminators (Robert Patrick and an identical replica of the original T-800 (Arnold Schwarzenegger), have emerged from the future with conflicting missions. Skynet is served by one of them.

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines

Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines was the first film to feature the franchise without James Cameron. Terminator fans can travel back in time to T2 years ago, when John is hiding from Kate Brewster (Claire Danes), and will soon marry her. Arnold Schwarzenegger plays the Terminator. He is determined to keep them safe. The T-X (Kristanna Lozen), an enemy with a changeable arm and known for its plasma cannon has been dispatched from time to destroy John and Kate.

Terminator Salvation

Terminator Salvation is John Conner’s story of his battle against Skynet. It reveals the impending conflict that has been teased throughout the previous movies. John discovers that Skynet plans on developing the T-800, a new type of Terminator model that he knows well, by infiltrating an Skynet facility. According to protocol that the resistance intercepts after leaving Skynet base, Kyle Reese tops Skynet’s resistance hit list. Conner believes that Skynet has learned that John Reese will eventually travel across the time continuum and become John’s dad, and is trying to stop it.

Terminator Genisys

Terminator Genisys marks a new beginning. It alters the entire timeline of the franchise, much like Dark Fate did for everything that happened after Terminator 2. Genisys opens 2029 and the Resistance is preparing a mission to send Jai Courtney’s Kyle Reese back in 1984 to save Emilia Clarke’s Sarah Connor. When all goes wrong, he finds himself in another world where Sarah Connor and a modified T800 named Pops (Arnold Schwarzenegger), are cooperating. This T-800 was sent back from 1973 to help Sarah, nine years ago, after her parents were killed by the T-1000 from Skynet.

Terminator: Dark Fate

Terminator: Dark Fate is set in the same time period as Terminator 2. Sarah Connor was successful in stopping Skynet. Sadly, a T-800 from an alternate reality that never materialized returned to assassinate John Connor in 1998. The focus of Dark Fate shifts to 2020, where Legion is an additional AI that poses a greater threat than Skynet. This AI sends Rev-9 back, a more modern Terminator to assassinate Dani Ramos from 2042 to2020. Fortunately, Dani is not dead. The Resistance is still active. Grace (Mackenzie Davis), an enhanced person, returns to Dani to guard her.
