WPP Acquires Passport Brand Design

WPP (NYSE: WPP) A London-based creative transformation company, Passport Brand Design, was acquired by Passport Brand Design. This agency is based in Southern California.

The deal’s amount was not disclosed.

The agency will join VMLY&R’s global network, creating exciting new partnership opportunities for existing talent and clients and expanding VMLY&R’s presence in the West Coast region.
A WPP company, VMLY&R is a global brand and customer experience agency that harnesses creativity, technology, and culture to create connected brands. It is made up of more than 13,000 employees worldwide with principal offices in Kansas City, New York, Detroit, London, São Paulo, Shanghai, Singapore and Sydney. Passport, founded by Natalie Taormina in 2004 and Jeremy Creighton in design, brings extensive brand identity and design expertise to WPP. They work across a broad range consumer categories and markets from Australia and Asia to North America. Agency has been active in many markets across Australia, Asia, and North America. Clients include Coca-Cola, Kraft and Heineken.
