Hunter King has been an actor in “The Young and the Restless,” since 2012. Hunter King was a temporary cast member of “The Young & the Restless” from 2012 to 2012. Her most notable departure was when she was offered a role on CBS’s comedy “Life in Pieces” through Deadline in 2016. King’s new job required her to give up the role of Summer Newman in favor of Bayley Corman, an actress. King returned to the role in 2018, however. It is said that she left Y&R now. King explained that although she does not rule out the possibility of ‘The Young and the Restless’ returning one day, she is eager to try new things.

It seems like Hunter King left Y&R. According to sources, she doesn’t have any commitments in the pipeline outside of her usual roles as Summer on Y&R, and its sister show The Bold and the Beautiful. 

Hunter King talked to TV Source in 2021 about her character’s potential future, including the possibility of adding another child to the family. Michael and Hunter King were both present in 2021 at Summer and Kyle’s wedding. King has decided not to return.

Summer, who is now living with Kyle and his mother, feels left out of her own relationships.
