Becca then devises an idea that could make them a lot more money. It is revealed that Tryst was answering to Guy (Oliver Rice) towards the end of the series. Here’s everything you need about him. SPOILERS Ahead
Who is Guy?
Guy is an Australian counterfeit ringleader. Episode 5 features Guy’s first appearance. This episode is told through Tryst’s perspective. After Tryst fails to secure a legitimate angel investor for his “Tinder meets Airbnb” app, his friend introduces him to Guy. It doesn’t take Tryst long to realize that the man sitting on the other end of the limo is definitely not the proverbial angel on the shoulder. After hearing Tryst’s pitch, Guy dismisses the idea by shooting Bobby in the leg. The fake ID business is then discovered by Guy, who expresses an interest in it.
Tryst knows that he cannot refuse. He claims that he created the fake IDs to protect the girls. Tryst then takes the girls to the penthouse, where they can get the IDs made there. He tells them then that the apartment is his, but it actually belongs to Guy.
Why does Guy kidnap Zoe, and Becca?
Things start to go wrong because of one of the girls that Becca and Zoe hire for the distribution of their products — Sally. She is actually Zoe’s pick, Becca was completely against recruiting the quirky girl. Sally misplaces her fake IDs while on a bus. This leads to a police investigation. Sally confesses her wrongdoings to police and claims that an unknown man is behind the whole operation. It saves Zoe, Becca, and others. However, they don’t know how incorrectly this assessment was.
Guy finds out that Sally was arrested and breaks Tryst’s non-dominant index finger. Of course, Tryst has no idea about Sally’s arrest, as Zoe and Becca haven’t told him. Guy asks him to make labels and logos. Margo is his employee. Margo sees the girls entering Margo’s penthouse. Tryst attempts to tell Margo that they are only children from the building. But she points out that the keys belonged to them.
Later, he meets with the girls and warns them to stay clear of the penthouse. Predictably, the girls don’t listen and go back to retrieve their hardware from the penthouse. Meanwhile, Tryst admits to Guy that he wasn’t making the fake IDs. He tells Guy about Zoe, Becca, and pleads for him to let the teens go. Guy even asks Guy to send the police to his apartment. Guy is a Vancouver police officer and Guy is arrested. Margo releases Zoe, Becca and takes them to Guy.
