Cacho Fontana
Cacho Fontana stopped being a spokesperson for La Serenísima in 1989 and the Fontana Show returned on Radio Rivadavia in 1992. His career ended with the cancellation in 1993 of the show. He continued to appear in advertisements and special programs but never again had a show. His mother died in 2006 at the young age of 101. He died on 5 July 2022, just two days after Liliana Kaldini.

Cacho Fontana then met radio host Roberto González Rivero at the Huracán Stadium and this resulted in his being hired as an announcer on Riverito’s Peña de tango, on Radio del Pueblo. He then worked with Julio César Barton as a sportscaster for Chacarita Juniors. He was first married with Dora Palma. It ended after two years and they had one child.
