The Marine Movie
Cena went missing for one month from WWE TV in late 2004.
The real reason behind scripting his disappearance was that he was starring in the WWE Studios movie “The Marine,” which was the first WWE movie to star its wrestling talent.
Fans saw John Cena as a new person after the movie was released. He began his wrestling career in Green camouflage pants and dog tags.

He did however once talk about the branch he would choose to serve if he joined the army.
Cena replied yes to Task Purpose when asked if he ever considered joining military service.
He fell into the world of sports and entertainment “by accident.”
Cena, 22, said that he was able to decide that he wanted to make his life a career. Cena thought about joining the Marines.
The weekend ended with his thoughts drifting away when a friend approached him at the gym and asked if he had ever considered wrestling. He never looked back.
Where did he grow-up?
John Cena was raised in Massachusetts and was born April 23, 1977. He attended Springfield College and studied exercise physiology.
Cena graduated from Massachusetts and moved to California where he began his career as a bodybuilder.
At that point, he had $500 in his pocket and couldn’t afford to rent an apartment. To make a living, he began folding towels and cleaning the toilets at a gym.

John Cena’s career did not grow overnight. Cena began his career in 2000 after a conversation with a friend. Cena, who has won many titles over the years, encouraged him to start wrestling. He also became the first wrestler ever to defeat Edward “Umaga” Fatu.
