TeamOhana Raises $4M In Seed Funding

TeamOhanaThe seed funding for a San Francisco, CA-based company offering a strategic headcount management platform has reached $4M.

The round was led by Sierra Ventures, with participation from Katalyst Ventures, Akshay Kothari, Samuel Adeyemo, Thejo Kote, Brad Goldoor, Anshu Sharma, Sarika Garg, Sharath Narayana, Keith Masuda, and Rob Glickman.

The company plans on using the funds to scale its product, and to hire a go-to-market staff.

TeamOhana’s CEO, Tushar Makhija, offers companies a platform to scale and hire headcount responsibly via real-time collaboration and data. By syncing historically siloed systems, the platform becomes the single source for a company’s people planning, empowering all teams to collaborate and execute strategic hiring plans on time and within budget. Finance and people executives have instant visibility into the company’s current hiring plans and headcount forecasts. This allows them to make crucial business decisions that will impact product roadmaps, targets and revenue projections.

TeamOhana has also launched its real-time headcount analytics tool. This feature brings together data from multiple systems into one customizable dashboard. It shows current and projected headcount. Leaders now have real-time access to their headcount budgets. This allows them to make better strategic organizational planning.
