SteelEye raises $21M in Series B Funding

SteelEyeA $21M Series B financing was closed by, a UK-based compliance technology company and data analytics firm, in London.

The round, which takes total capital raised to $43m, was led by Ten Coves Capital with participation from existing investors Fidelity International Strategic Ventures, Illuminate Financial, Beacon Equity Partners, and a large family office.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its global expansion – with an emphasis on North America.

SteelEye’s CEO Matt Smith is leading the company. SteelEye offers a SaaS-based RegTech platform which allows financial institutions, brokers, asset managers and other regulated financial companies to streamline their compliance with various EU, UK and US regulations. Firms can store their data in a WORM-compliant vault. They can also identify and stop early warning signs for harmful conduct and prove that they have strong policies, procedures, controls, and controls. The system connects large amounts of data from multiple sources and allows firms to comply with regulatory requirements, have full control over their trading operations and compliance operations. It also provides analytics that give insight on opportunities and risks.

The company also has offices located in New York, Bengaluru, India and Braga (Portugal).
