Stacked Raises US$12.9M in Series A Funding

StackedLos Angeles, CA-based provider a web3 and livestreaming platform has raised US$12.9M Series A funding.

Pantera Capital was the lead, with participation from Z Venture Capital, Alexandr Lu, Eddy Lu, Carl Pei, and GFR Fund.

The company plans to use the funds for marketing, content acquisition, as well as talent recruitment. With an initial userbase in North America, Stacked plans to expand its userbase into Latin America, India, and Southeast Asia, tapping into the respective regions’ mobile-driven demographics.

Stacked was founded in March 2021 by Alex Lin and is owned and operated entirely by its community. Stacked is working to improve its features and business model. Creators can keep more of what you earn by being rewarded with governance tokens based on performance metrics. Creators will be able to further monetize their content by using tokenized assets in the future to engage their fanbases.
