Reba McEntire played the lead role in the American sitcom Reba, which aired from October 5, 2001 through February 18, 2007. The original premiere of the show was hosted by The WB. The first five seasons were broadcast on the WB. The final season was broadcast on The CW (The WB merged with UPN in 2006). Reba’s sixth season ended as planned on February 18, 2007. This was in accordance with the announcement made in January 2007. The episodes were broadcast live to a studio audience.

1) Reba McEntire  as  Reba Nell Hart 

Reba McEntire is an American singer, actor, and entrepreneur. Her recordings have sold over 75 million worldwide. She is often called “The Queen Of Country”. McEntire has sold more than 100 singles to the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart since the 1970s. 25 of these singles reached number one. Her roles include television and films, which earned her recognition as an actress.  She was the main role in the six-season television drama Reba. She also owns a number companies, including a clothing company.

2) Christopher Rich  as  Brock Enroll Hart

Christopher Rich Wilson is an American actor who is most well-known for his roles in Murphy Brown, Reba, Boston Legal and other shows. He was born in Dallas on September 16, 53. Rich rose to fame as Alexander “Sandy”, Cory, on the daytime drama Another World. Alongside Caitlin O’Heaney, Judy Parfitt, and Paul Winfield, he played the role of Prince Eric Charming in the ill-fated 1987–1988 television series The Charmings. Rich was the well-known animated Archie Andrews in Archie: To Riverdale & Back Again, a 1990 television movie. The movie was inspired by characters from Archie Comics. Rich made a cameo appearance in The Joy Luck Club (1993).

3) JoAnna García  as  Cheyenne Montgomery

American actress JoAnna Garca Swisher (née Garca; born August 10, 1979). She is best known for her roles as Sam in Are You Alarmed of the Dark? (1994–1996), Vicki Appleby in Freaks and Geeks (1999–2000), and Cheyenne Hart-Montgomery in The WB/CW comedy Reba (2001–07). Her acting work in Privileged (2008–09), Better with You (2010–11), Animal Practice (2012), Once Upon a Time (2013–18), The Astronaut Wives Club (2015), and Sweet Magnolias have also helped her achieve recognition (2020-2022). Garca portrays Lindsey Johnson (2021) on Hallmark Channel’s Luck Would Have It. 

4) Steve Howey   as  Van Montgomery

American actor Steven Michael Robert Howey is born on July 12, 1977. He is a television and film actor. He is most well-known for his roles in the Showtime series Shameless, and as Van Montgomery on WB/CW’s television series Reba. Howey is also featured in Supercross, DOA, Dead or Alive!, Bride Wars!, Game Over, Man! and Something Borrowed. Howey, who was still in highschool, moved from Texas to Denver. He then spent two years on a basketball scholarship at Northeastern Junior College.

Reba Plot

Reba McEntire plays Reba Nell Hart, a witty single mom on the show. It is set in Houston, Texas. In the pilot episode it is revealed that Brock’s dentist hygienist, Barbra Jean (Melissa Peterman), is pregnant because of an affair. Brock divorced Reba Nell in order to marry Barbra Jean (a young, feisty dentist assistant). Barbra Jean regards Reba as her greatest and most important friend, even though Reba considers her a foe and calls her “B.J.” Reba gradually and painfully realizes, despite her best efforts, that she does like Barbra Jean and considers herself a friend.
