Made in Abyss Episode 9 Recap

Reg is accompanied by Faputa, who sits on his head as he travels towards the village. Faputa has suffered a serious injury to her arm and she asks Reg if she will be okay. Faputa assures Reg that her injury is not fatal and that she is immortal. Reg eventually reaches the village and finds Riko waiting at the door. Reg makes it into the village, but soon after, everyone in Iruburu starts to cry. This is a sight that even surprised the villagers.

Vuelo argues that it is most likely caused by Reg bringing in Faputa’s arm. Vuelo asks Reg about the things he asked. Reg recalls her fervent desire to go into the village. She also discussed the possibility of revising the law that prevents her from entering. Riko instantly understands that Faputa is talking about the Reg’s incinerator as it is the only tool that can rewrite the laws of the netherworld.

Wazukyan comes to Reg just as they’re talking and immediately recognizes Reg. Riko quickly realizes that Wazukyan must have been keen to go on adventurers once again, just like the villagers. He asks Riko directly if he would let her use the Cradle Of Desire to make this possible. Before they can finish their conversation, Juroimoh suddenly appears from nowhere. He wastes no time in making his intentions clear that he wants to take Faputa’s arm from Reg.

Made in Abyss Season II Episode 9: How does Reg stop Juroimoh from killing him?

As Juroimoh sets his eyes on Reg, it immediately becomes quite obvious that he will not stop until he gets his hands on Faputa’s decapitated arm that he has been carrying around to save Nanachi. Before he pursues him directly, Juroimoh uses his powers to cover Ilblu’s entrance with the black masses usually visible during the balancing. He then begins to spread the black masses over the village’s surface.

It becomes obvious to Reg that Juroimoh does not want any space left for him so that he won’t be able to escape his clutches. Soon, the villages are also surrounded and have little space for him. Juroimoh does not care about anyone’s well-being as long as he gets what he wants. Reg finally gets caught by the masses after evading him for a while. Through the opening, he is still able to aim directly at Juroimoh. Reg then uses his incinerator to knock out one of the three sages.

Faputa Can Make It Inside the Village of Ilblu What does she plan to do?

Reg injures Juroimoh with his incinerator. He then reaches out for his village friends. He typically falls asleep for two hours after using his incredible power, so he wants the villagers to take Faputa’s hand with them. Majikaja is happy to help but realizes that the hand is precious and an easy target for the beasts attracted to the blood smell. As they look at the incinerator’s chaos, Majikaja is shocked to find something unusual just a few metres away.

Faputa was able to reach the Village of Ilblu because of the destruction caused to her by the incinerator. Reg was the one who helped her reach her goal. Juroimoh suddenly finds the courage to attempt to attack the princess again. However, the interference unit quickly knocks her down and asks her to show some respect. Faputa tells the villager that they will pay for all their sins as soon as she focuses on them.

Faputa reminds the village that they have been starving Faputa and her siblings. Faputa is unable to forgive them as they have desecrated Faputa’s mother to prolong her own life. Therefore, she proclaims that the sorrows and joys of the villagers’ daily life have finally come to an end as she will make them pay for their crimes by eradicating every last one of them.
