The Milwaukee Police unearthed unusual materials and evidence, including hydrochloric acid and polaroids of naked dismembered bodies inside the apartment of notorious cannibal and murderer Jeffrey Dahmer.
Convicted in 1994, Dahmer was known as the Milwaukee Cannibal who brutally murdered 17 men and boys between 1978 and 1991.
In his apartment, police found evidence that prove his crime. There were barrels of hydrochloric acid, which Dahmer used to dissolve his victims’ bodies and a fridge where he stored the skeletons. The authorities also found graphic photos depicting necrophilia and a sketch of an altar which he planned on making.
Scattered across the floor were all kinds of knives and sawblades, a hypodermic needle, and an electric drill as shown in the pictures. Furthermore, they found a severed human head in a fridge.
The evidence came to light three decades after the new Netflix true crime series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story fictionalized the life and crimes of Dahmer (played by Evan Peters).
According to Biography, Jeffrey engaged in sexual acts with his victims, usually young and gay men, before dismembering their body parts. One victim got away from the apartment named Tracy Edwards which led to the murderer’s eventual arrest.
Demolished in November 1992, the apartment is now just an empty lot where the killer used to victimize his targets.
