Florence Healthcare Raises $27M in Series C-1 Funding Round

Florence HealthcareAtlanta, GA-based company specializes in clinical trial software. It serves as the digital link between sponsors, clinical trial sites, and CROs. They raised $27m through Series C-1 funding.

Insight Partners was the leader of the round.

The company, which has raised $114.1m, plans to use the funds in order to increase staffing and product offerings and to improve connectivity between its global network, which includes 10,000+ clinical trial sites, sponsors, and other companies.

Florence Healthcare, led by Ryan Jones, CEO and Catherine Gregor (Chairman of the Clinical Trial Office), provides a platform for clinical trials to manage documents, data, and workflows. The platform allows sponsors and contract researchers (CROs), remote access to share information with other sites. Each month, users perform over 3,000,000 remote monitoring activities.

The company’s eBinders™ platform now streamlines operations for more than 10,000 research sites in 45 countries with digital document workflows that strengthen regulatory compliance, improve user adoption, and provide seamless remote connectivity. In addition, its SiteLink™ platform now powers 4 million remote research activities every month by linking sites, sponsors, and CROs in a unified document workflow environment. SiteLink allows sponsors to connect remotely with study sites to support all phases and therapeutic areas of clinical trials.
