Edupia Raises $14M in Series A Funding

EdupiaIn Series A funding, $14M was raised by edtech startup based in Hanoi, Vietnam, called.

Jungle Ventures was the leader of this round. ThinkZone Ventures and eWTP Capital also participated.

The company plans to use the funds for its tech stack and hiring across key positions. It also intends to expand into new regions.

Edupia, founded by Tran Duc Hong in 2018, provides an English learning platform. This helps to eradicate language-based inequalities. Its English-learning platform is targeted at kids under 6 as well as primary & secondary students.

Edupia currently boasts over 5,000,000 users in Vietnam and other SEAsian countries like Thailand, Indonesia, and Myanmar.

It will be focusing on products for K12 students in the future and expanding into other subjects, such as Math and IT (Coding). Edupia plans to continue to develop new technologies and expand into Thailand and Indonesia.
