You will be attempting to restore Dreamlight Valley back to its former glory and stop the Forgetting from advancing. You discover your magical abilities early on and begin to remove the Night Thorns (from the earth) and learn how you can help the Pixar and Disney characters who have sought refuge in the valley’s Dream Castle.

A gameplay trailer was released. We also had the opportunity to play the game and experience some of its enchantment. As you solve The Forgetting’s mystery, you will be able to use Dreamlight magic in order to eliminate Nigh thorns. Your ability to use Dreamlight magic to help villages and complete tasks will increase. This is important as your strength can be used to remove more difficult thorns from other parts of the globe. It also uses a system called Dreamlight Duties that works similarly to Animal Crossing New Horizons’ Nook Miles program. By completing activities and achieving objectives, such as collecting a certain amount fruit, you will earn more magic. 

But that’s just a small part of the pixie-dust-strewn pie. You have many options: gardening, cooking, crafting, mining and home decoration. But customization doesn’t stop at your home. You can beautify the Valley in general and place your own ornaments wherever it is desired. It doesn’t matter how healthy it is. It’s similar with Animal Crossing but instead Isabella and Tom Nook, it’ll be you speaking with Goofy, Wall-E, and Wall-E.

Each character will have a unique narrative arc and objectives. Magical doors in the Dream Castle allow you to leave the valley to go to other Disney realms like the one where Moana lives or the one Wall-E has destroyed. If you complete several puzzles or activities, Wall-E and Moana may be brought home.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Early Access Release Date 

Itney Dreamlight Valley is not scheduled for release beyond 2023. However, it will be free to play on PC, PS5, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X or Xbox One. You can purchase a Founder’s Pack, or an Xbox Game Pass to get access to the Early Access version. This will give you access to in-game gold, cosmetic items, and other goodies. It is not yet known how much it will cost, but Early Access is expected to start on September 6, 2022.

You can’t meet a lot of Pixar or Disney characters without making friends. We had the opportunity to play the game and saw how you can make friends with these adorable characters by talking to them often, completing their tasks, and inviting them to join you. As they join you on your adventures in mining, fishing, or other activities, your relationship will grow. You can even use your phone to take a selfie together.
