Decimal Point Analytics Raises $4.7M in Funding

Decimal Point AnalyticsThe funding was for $4.7M to a Mumbai, India-based financial analytics and research company.

The investment was made by an unnamed global insurer in the GCC region.

The company intends to use the funds to build DPA’s delivery capability, strengthen the team and create a technology platform to facilitate their client operations.

Decimal Point Analytics was established in 2003 by Indian Capital Markets and is headed by CEO Shailesh Duri. It offers Research and Data Analytics products and solutions, including Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence-based options. Data Providers include Asset Management Companies, Private Equity Firms and Hedge Funds. Broking Houses are also a key client category.
