Adyton Raises $10M in Series A Funding

AdytonFunding in Series A of $10M was raised by, a Dallas-based Defense-focused startup.

The round, which brings its total raised to over $16m to date, was led by Khosla Ventures with participation from Initialized Capital, Kindred Ventures and Palumni VC.

The company plans on using the funds to speed up the adoption of the software platform within U.S. defense organizations.

Founded in 2018 by James Boyd and JJ Wilson, who were classmates at the Army’s elite Special Forces Qualification Course prior to post-military careers at Palantir and The Boston Consulting Group, respectively, Adyton is an American Public Benefit Corporation building mobile solutions deployed across all branches of the U.S. military. Mustr, a mobile-first platform that allows defense organizations to manage their personnel, provides secure communications features and structured data collection. Mustr allows defense leaders and service personnel to save hours and identify service members who are in distress, and take data-driven, immediate decisions to increase operational readiness.
